Approval times are set by the ATF and change over time. With electronic eForm 4 filing, recent approvals have ranged from a few days to several weeks for many buyers, though individual cases vary. Not anymore. As of January 1, 2026 the federal transfer tax on suppressors is $0 — the old $200 tax stamp is gone. You still get an approved tax stamp on your Form 4; it just no longer costs anything. The registration and background check are unchanged.

Some pieces — high-end 1911s, 2011s, imported revolvers, precision rifles — are made in tiny numbers and almost never sit in stock. Those are allocation items: you reserve your place and we notify you when one becomes available. On Reserve, "Available" means one is actually unclaimed right now; "Allocated · waitlist" means you can sign up to be told the moment one lands.

Our Atelier tier covers limited-edition and made-to-order pieces. These are built or imported to order, so they carry a lead time and a reservation deposit (typically 50% of list) that holds your place in the run. We confirm the exact lead time and deposit before anything is committed.

No. Firearms ship to a licensed FFL for transfer, and you complete the transfer in person after a background check. Non-NFA accessories and gear can ship straight to you. See FFL Transfers for the full process. NFA items (suppressors) likewise transfer through a licensed SOT/FFL — never to your door.

A valid government photo ID with your current address, you must meet the minimum age (generally 21 for handguns and suppressors, 18 for long guns), and you must pass the NICS background check via ATF Form 4473. Some states have extra requirements — we'll confirm yours.

Absolutely. Have the seller ship to our FFL and we'll handle the receiving transfer. Start on the Transfers page, then email us so we can send our license to your seller.

Firearms and NFA items generally can't be returned once transferred, for legal reasons. Unused, non-transferred accessories may be returnable. Full details are on the Policies page.

Suppressors are legal to own in most — but not all — states, and we transfer only where lawful. Tell us your state and we'll confirm before you commit. More on the NFA page.
